Photo Contest

Have your photos spotlighted in Topline and the website. All you have to do is take photos of your llamas or alpacas and enter them in ORLVA’s photo contest. Just ask last years winners about the fabulous prizes they received !!!

Categories:

1. Portrait (head shots or full body)
2. Humerous
3. Interaction (with people or other animals)
4. Cria
5. Working (packing, driving, 4H)
6. Youth Entries (ages 6-18, no specific category)

Rules:

1. All photos must…
a. Be one that “you” took
b. Include a lama or lamas (alpaca, llama, guanaco, or vicuna)
c. Be 4 x 6 in size and taped (not glued) onto a 5 x 7 mat (found at WalMart, JoAnn Fabrics)
d. Have a label on “back” with the following information
1. Your name and farm name
2. Entry category
2. All photographers must be…
a. An ORVLA member
b. An amateur photographer
3. Entry Information…
a. $5.00 per photo (no limit to the number you can submit)
b. Make checks payable to ORVLA (must be included with entries)
c. Send entries to: Kristy Huffman, 3988 Clay Pike, Zanesville, OH 43701
d. Deadline : November 26th, 2007, if sent by mail or
hand deliver to the ORVLA Christmas Meeting - Dec. 2, 2007

All entries will be displayed at the ORVLA Christmas Meeting and voted on there. You need not be present to win.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE: This is one over all winner! Each farm will get one voting ballot to vote for the photo of their choice.

**New for 2007** “EDITOR’S CHOICE” This photo will be selected by the editor of Topline and will be featured on a
2008 cover of Topline. A special prize will be awarded for this honor.

Prizes will be awarded. Last years winners received beautiful hand made Christmas llama pottery.

All entries may be used in Topline or on ORVLA’s website. Arrangements may be made to return photos back to you.Questions:
