Ranch/guide position offered at a Wyoming working llama ranch.  Highline Trail Llamas in Boulder, Wyoming is a self contained, breeding, training, outfitting operation dedicated to the use and preservation of Ccara llamas.  This is a life style for an independent outdoor oriented, hardworking person capable of handling 80 lb. bales of hay, hiking 10 miles before camp chores and then enjoying smore’s around the campfire.  16 hour days exploring the Wind River Mountains, Wyoming Range and Gros Venture while tending guests or training young pack llamas should be considered a perk not a drag.  All aspects of animal care, irrigation, fencing, shoveling beans, maintenance etc. to grow hay and provide for 200 llamas is included.  Must be tough enough to work in a Wyoming winter, yet gentle and caring enough to tend to a new born cria.  Enthusiasm and natural ability will be considered as important as extensive experience.  A small modern cabin is provided on the ranch for housing.  Please visit our web site to gain insight on who we are and what we do.  There is a “Ranch Visit” at:
