ORVLA extends its deepest sympathies to Al & Barbara Raimonde for the loss of their son.

    Paul A. Raimonde

Paul A. Raimonde, age 55 of Centerburg, was taken tragically Wednesday, August 10, 2011 following an automobile accident on SR 42 in Delaware. He was born on April 21, 1956 in Willard and was a graduate of Westerville High School in 1974 and the Agriculture Technical Institute. For 20 years he owned and operated Raimonde Trucking and currently worked as an equipment dispatcher for Trucco Construction in Delaware. He also spent countless hours with his father tending to their family farms. A thoroughbred horse enthusiast, he was not only a fan, but also an owner and breeder. He attended countless Kentucky Derby's, collected horse paintings, and Derby glasses. Always hardworking, he was a family man of few words. Firm and to the point he enjoyed friendships and loved animals, especially horses. He treasured time spent at the track with family, friends, and dog Boomer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Charity (Ulrey); precious daughter, Tiffany; parents, Albert and Barbara (Alt) Raimonde of Westerville; sisters, Christine (Bob) Evenson of Galena, Lynn (Jim) Nowjack of Westerville, Mary Ellen (Matt) Wickham of Conifer, CO, Jackie Raimonde of Powell; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and horsemen. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR's 3 at 61, Sunbury. Day and time for a Funeral Mass at St. Paul's Church in Westerville will be announced. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice. For service time and condolences visit: www.snyderfuneralhomes.com
